Those drawings/scribblings on the side of the panel were a contribution of the wonderful cocktail staff at Barnacle Billy’s in Perkins Cove, ME. “Awesomest” is a blog written by Chris S. (me), and this comic (why you are at this website now) is currently untitled. It was inspired by a widely syndicated Scottish comic strip available elsewhere online, but you most likely have read it with a taste of slight sleepiness in your mouth in your daily newspaper.
This comic strip began as a slight parody of that comic strip that I made when I was bored at work, but as the weeks drew on into the fall, I found more pleasure in delivering observations that had very little to do with its source material. On occasion, strips will run out of order with their original creation, but I’ve made an attempt to align the seasonal episodes closer to when they actually occur than they would if I published everything straight through. Also I lost a bunch of the super early ones to the bar’s trashcan. I hope you at least sort of enjoy this as much as I’ve sort of enjoyed this. - C
